This site is run with
UseMod:UseModWiki (
[version of UseModWiki]).
Why use a Wiki (or in particular UseMod:UseModWiki)?
To learn & help about Mutt using Wikiwiki
dynamic documentation.
It's fast & easy to use (browse & edit) and doesn't depend on few or single people.
Everything is updated & corrected by Mutt USERS, i.e.
you.
Mainly people from the
MuttChannel and
MuttLists feed the Wiki, but
everyone is welcome
and grant
open access afterwards by giving you the public editing password.
Access is still automatic, simple, easy: it requires only that you are no stupid bot ;-)
and that you can read the following password and write it in your preferences (top navigation bar!).
If you want to use the wiki, you should be able to read&write anyway.
So it should be no challenge for you to type this word once and read
WikiWorker before you edit.
The current editor-password is: spammersSuck
Once this is done, open the page you want to work on and hit "Edit
text of this page" on the bottom of each page!
(Note: remembering your preferences and the password requires cookies.
If you work from different places, remember the user-ID and specify it
in the [Login-page], or copy your cookies for the wiki.
Keep our environment clean, don't leave abandoned accounts around! :) )
What to do?
The Wiki-concept cannot work without people contributing to the
knowledgebase. When you've searched for something that you didn't find
here but somewhere else, or when you know of something of
potential interest to others, don't hesitate to share your
knowledge with the rest of the world through this medium.
The starting points of MuttWiki link to many pages covering different areas.
Go ahead and contribute anywhere you have something useful to add.
Currently most work has to be done on the MuttGuide, but the MuttFaq needs updates now & then, too.
If indeed you happen not to find on this Wiki what you are looking for,
you may even place requests on MuttFaq/ToDo and incorporate
received answers somewhere within the MuttWiki (guide and/ or faq).
